If a verification is determined to need a call, we route the verification to the specific team of individuals who are experts in that specific vertical. Once they call, the review team reviews the call notes and verification report to make sure it is consistent with trends and information we have gathered from the provider from previous EOBs. If it passes review we deliver it to the provider. If it doesn’t, we will push it back and have someone reverify by calling the payer again. We have this process down to a science to ensure you are getting the most accurate information possible.
